Donated of $30,000.00Do For One is a relationship-building program that brings isolated people into greater community life in New York City. The organization selectively match one person with disabilities (‘Partner’) with another person who enjoys a more socially included life (‘Advocate’). Advocates enter a person’s life to respond to that person's needs and interests through an authentic and freely given relationship. Advocates will choose, along with their partner, the personal investments, contents, and direction of the relationship.
This fundraising campaign "For Hope" will help Do For One achieve the following in 2026:

Foster 18 new matches across NYC and support 105 active relationships through coaching, gatherings, forums, training, and circles of support.

Deepen roots in Astoria, Queens, nurturing a growing community hub of belonging and connection.

Train 15 new cohort members through Lead For One and continue mentoring the 38 social matchmakers and catalysts already equipped.
